The Geisler Group in front of you, the forest behind you and the valley below you: life at Miglanzhof in Villnöß has been adapting to nature and its inhabitants for centuries. Today we live between our herb garden, the fields all around and the old fruit trees. You will be surrounded by littles calves, cows, chickens, and our beloved house dog Kira. And enjoy the fresh milk and eggs for breakfast of whenever you want.

In spring, the young kittens are born, and even during the hot months in July and August you may feel like in a summer retreat, because we are at 1,085 m above sea level. In autumn, apples, pears, plums and currants ripen and you can taste them directly from the trees and bushes. You may help us picking the mountain herbs and re-discover the joys of preparing simple meals with local products. To make sure our little guests don’t get bored, we have set up a small playground on the farm. Or you relax in the reading corner at the Miglanzhof.

It is a place full of history and traditions: Its first mention dates to 1070 AD. It was the time of the early Middle Ages, when the first crusades began and most castles had not even been built yet. The Miglanzhof was a noble court at that time. In the course of time, a court chapel with an altar and a spring were added, which the province of South Tyrol recognised as a healing spring.

After lovingly renovating our farm over the past few years, all these places together now form a unit that welcomes you to a few days of complete tranquility in the Dolomites in the Eisack Valley.
